Aeroplan, the frequent flyer program of Air Canada, has just released a new exciting contest! The Aeroplan Blue Skies Calling contest is inviting members to earn or redeem their Aeroplan points for the chance to win round-trip Air Canada tickets valid through 2022!
Until June 1, 2021, members who participate in this contest can win 1 of 35 pairs of round-trip tickets to the following exciting worldwide destinations:
- Victoria, B.C.
- San Francisco, USA
- Cancun, Mexico
- Athens, Greece
- Lisbon, Portugal
- Tokyo, Japan
- Bogota, Colombia
Aeroplan’s Blue Skies Calling Contest
It’s easy to participate in the Aeroplan Blue Skies Calling Contest. Members just need to perform simple actions earning or redeeming Aeroplan points to enter the contest.
To participate, you first need to register your Aeroplan number for the contest:
Next, complete various actions to earn entries into the contest. Each action gets you 5 bonus entries.
The list of actions include:
- Use your Aeroplan credit card (Check out my post about the best Aeroplan credits cards)
- Buy Aeroplan points and get a bonus of 60% more points
- Gift Aeroplan points to a friend or family member and they also get 60% more points
- Complete any Aeroplan eStore transaction (up to 50 entries)
- Link your Starbucks ® Rewards account to your Aeroplan account (You’ll earn bonus entries even if you’ve already linked your accounts prior to the contest period)
- Load $50 or more to your digital Starbucks card
- Buy an Air Canada gift card to use for your future travel.
- Book any car rental on the Aeroplan booking platform
- Book any hotel stay on the Aeroplan booking platform
The number of actions you complete will determine how many contest entries you’ll receive.
Each action gets you 5 entries into the contest. Complete 3 actions and you’ll get an additional 10 bonus entries (15 + 10 = 25 entries). Or, complete 5 actions and get an additional 25 bonus entries for a total of 50 bonus entries.
Keep in mind that travel must be completed on or before December 31, 2022 and that there are travel blackout dates depending on the destination.
Overall, I’d say it’s pretty easy to complete most of the actions this contest like using an Aeroplan credits cards or purchasing something on the Aeroplan eStore.
