American Express regularly offers bonus promotions for it’s card holders. Until July 22, 2021, there’s a new promotion available for Marriott Bonvoy™ American Express® card members!
Generally, for most regular purchases, this credit card only offers 2 Bonvoy points per dollar spent. But, this new targeted promotion offers an additional bonus 3x Marriott Bonvoy points for purchases at grocery stores. Note that registration is required for this promotion.

Earn 5 points per dollar at grocery stores
Until July 22, 2021, eligible Marriott Bonvoy™ American Express® card members can earn an additional 3 bonus Bonvoy points for every $1 spent on groceries up to 4,500 points. This means that you’re earning 5 points per dollar spend on groceries (instead of the regular 2 points).
To earn the maximum 4,500 bonus points, you would need to spend $1,500 on grocery purchases which equates to a reasonable $500 per month.
