Great Canadian Rebates is noteworthy as it’s one of the few Canadian cash back sites that offer cash back when you apply for financial products such as credit cards.
There are a variety of credit card offers from many popular Canadian banks and credit card issuers on the GCR site. This includes credit cards from:

From the top of the “Credit cards & Finance” page, you can also filter & choose from different card categories, including cash back, travel rewards, and premium credit cards.
The GCR website provides detailed information on each offer, including the cash back amount, sign-up bonus and any additional perks or benefits that come with the card.
Plus, it will show the end date of any promotional or increased cash back offers.
For example, GCR is currently offering $150 cash back on the Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite card until April 29, 2023.

*Important Note* applying for credit cards will generally result in hard inquiry on your credit report!
Receiving your Great Canadian Rebates cash back payment
Once your card is approved, Great Canadian Rebates will keep track of your application and send the cash back about 2-3 months later, (usually by the 28th of the month to your desired payment method).
To help you out, you can refer to the following schedule.
This can take several weeks to process, so please be patient and allow time for the cash back to appear in your account.
If you cash back hasn’t appeared after 1 month, you can then submit an missing transaction inquiry to GCR so they can begin an investigation. Generally, for inquiries, you will need to provide your name, the date your applied for the card, and the application reference number from the bank.
I’ve previously submitted multiple missing credit card transaction inquiries and after usually 1 or 2 months, GCR sends me the cash back to my account!
