This past week, there has been some positive news for Canadians who collect Marriott Bonvoy points. By far, the best way to earn these valuable hotel points is with the Marriot Bonvoy American Express credit card. The card allows you to earn Bonvoy points on your purchases, comes with a generous welcome bonus of 50,000 points and offers a free hotel night certificate after the first year!

For those of you that may not have the card yet, now is the time to apply for it via the Great Canadian Rebates (GCR) cash back website. That’s because GCR is offering a cash back bonus of ~~$100~~ $30 if you’re approved for the Marriott Bonvoy Amex card!

This Spring 2021 promotion sees a considerable improvement on the welcome bonus on these cards which is now up to 20,000 Aeroplan points!
