Today, Marriott Bonvoy has introduced dynamic pricing for hotel stays using Bonvoy points. This news was previously announced in October 2021 and means the end of the Marriott Bonvoy award chart.
So, let’s explain this change and how it’s a good thing for certain Marriott hotel stays.
Recently, I was able to stay at the newly opened Residence Inn Marriott hotel in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. This Marriott hotel, which opened in October 2021, is excellent for short or long-term stays while visiting Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya.

Marriott Bonvoy has just released a new Spring 2022 promotion which might be of interest for those with upcoming hotel stays.
From now until April 3, 2022 March 23, 2022, Marriott Bonvoy is offering a tiered 40% to 50% bonus on purchased points when you buy at least 2,000 points in one transaction.
During a recent overnight flight connection through the Montreal International Airport, I was able to stay and experience the Marriott In-terminal hotel. It’s located conveniently right beside the U.S. departures area of the airport making it an ideal location to stay overnight before an early morning flight.
Today, Marriott Bonvoy announced details about their upcoming Spring 2022 promotion. This new global promotion is known as “Every Night Counts”, and registration is now open.
It will offer members 1,000 bonus points and double elite nights for each night stayed at a Marriott hotel between February 8 and May 4, 2022. Only paid hotel bookings are eligible for this promotion.
